Toolkit

Practical things that save you money and trouble.

Emergency numbers

Free to call from any phone, even with no credit.

What you should really pay

Many workers arrive already in debt because of illegal fees. Here is what is fair versus what scammers charge.

 FairRip-off
Work permit & paperwork€0 — employer paysAny fee to you
Recruiter / agency fee€0 or small€3,000–10,000+
Your flight & medical examReal price, once2–3× the real price
Rule of thumb: the work permit is the employer's cost. If anyone asks YOU for a lot of money just to get or keep a job, that is a warning sign — not a normal bill.
